Hi all, is it possible to get a personal loan without having a credit search. The reason i ask is because i need a loan but ive already had a few searches against me this year, once for a mortgage and once for a loan which i decided against and i dont really want anymore. I think im right in saying that lots of credit searches can count against you and i just dont want anymore unless i can be guarenteed the loan in advance. Any ideas?

hi jonty, im no expert on this but i dont think you've got much choice other than to have a credit search. The only way that i think you can borrow without a search is through your bank but thinking about it maybe not their either.

u can only get an in principle nod with no credit search which doesn't really mean anything. To get an actual loan fully approved you'll need to be checked im afraid.
